Shreyanka Patil is an Indian cricketer who was born on July 31, 2022, in Bangluru. She plays for Karnataka and Royal Challengers Bangaluru in the WPL. Shreyanka Patil has also featured in the Carabian Premier League for the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
Domestic Career:
Shreyanka Patil first appeared on the cricket field in October 2019 against Pondicherry. Shreyanka immediately impressed everyone with her performance, picking up 1/21 in her debut match.
However, Shreyanka’s dominance with the ball was seen against the North-East Zone when she registered a phenomenal figure of 4/7 for the South Zone. Not only with the ball, Shreyanka also showed her capabilities with the bat, as she scored a prolific 73 against Arunachal Pradesh.
Shreyanka Patil got picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first ever WPl auction held in 2023. She had a decent start to her WPL career, as she picked up six wickets in seven matches in her debut season.
Shreyanka further got the opportunity to represent the Guyana Amazon Warriors in 2023. She was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament, picking up nine wickets at an astonishing average of 11.66.
Shreyanka Patil was the winner of the purple cap in the recently concluded WPL season for Royal Challengers Bangalore. She picked up 13 wickets from 8 matches, and her best performance with the ball came in the finals against the Delhi Capitals, where she registered figures of 4/12.
International career:
In June 2023, Shreyanka was part of the team that played in the ACCT-20 Emerging Asia Cup. She was the leading wicket taker of the tournament, picking up nine wickets, which included the best figure of 4/13 against Bangladesh A in the finals.
In December 2023, Shreyanka received her maiden India call-up for the series against England. She was handed her Twenty20 debut in the first match of the series, where she picked up two wickets, giving away 44 runs.
Later on, Shreyanka received her maiden Odi call-up against Australia. She made her Odi debut for India on December 30, 2023.
Apart from her brilliant performance on the cricket field, Shreyanka is also known for her dancing skills.
